Synopsis

Up Up & Away is a travel series where intrepid adventurers, married couple and actors, Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt, visit interesting locations and bring the audience along on the fun and learning. The episode we submitted Up Up & Away: Japan Part 1, is part one of a two part trip to Japan, and takes the viewer to the cities of Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone in the Kanto region of Japan.

Objectives

We endeavor to provide historical snippets, trivia, and respectful views on cultural activities, while immersing ourselves in the local experience through food, activities and visits to landmarks. We mix popular destinations as well as off-the-beaten track locales, so that we embrace a location deeply and thoughtfully, while still having fun.
